Job DescriptionOur client is an international bank seeking to recruit a Wealth Structurer. Job purpose/summary: As Wealth Structurer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Relationship Managers with clients that have wealth structuring services. Main duties & responsibilities: • Responsible for assessing external proposed tailor-made and value-added fiduciary structuring services (including the use of trusts, foundations, partnerships, private investment companies and life insurance strategies) to private clients in Guernsey. • To ensure superior client service by supporting Relationship Managers and/or their clients, carrying out research and consultation with external tax/legal/trust professionals, whilst achieving designated business targets. • To increase the knowledge of wealth structuring services among Relationship Manager (through regular discussions, meetings, training sessions, client meetings etc.). • Maintaining relationships with external service providers, such as (i) Trust companies and corporate service providers; and (ii) Insurance brokers. • Other key aspects of this role include generating new wealth structuring product ideas and managing successful product launches within Guernsey. This includes drafting New Product Papers together with the Head of Products and Solutions, and maintaining the accuracy of existing product papers (e.g. Insurance financing papers, external referral agreements, etc.). • Such other duties as may at times be reasonably required. The successful candidate will have: • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in an advisory capacity to private clients. • Experience in Guernsey Trust practices and structures. • Expertise in areas of legal and tax for offshore business. • A proactive team player and strategic problem solver, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
