Job Description

Our client is a leading fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Trust Officer - Client Management. This role is also open for candidates who are willing to relocate to Guernsey as a 5-year housing licence would be provided to the successful candidate. There is the opportunity to develop the position within the department, and also the wider relationship with the clients (the relationship is a mature one so there is the chance to get to know the next generation and redefine the historic offering). Furthermore, the client is well known by the head of the business, so a fantastic opportunity for also ensuring a high profile within the organisation for the right candidate. Key responsibilities will include: • The day to day lead on the largest client of the department (with the support of senior management). • Be involved with various assets including UK property portfolios, trading businesses, art collections, a yacht, supercars, alternative investments and charitable donations. • Deal with a number of jurisdictions. • Liaise directly with experts, lawyers, accountants, clients etc. • Become involved in technical legal and corporate governance issues. • Undertake travel, primarily to London. The successful candidate will have: • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ prior industry relevant experience. • STEP/ICSA qualification or working toward completion thereof. Candidates need to be qualified with solid experience and able to hit the ground running. • Sound educational background (A Level standard or equivalent)
