Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank seeking to recruit a Trust Director. Purpose of role/Key Responsibilities: • To actively develop and maintain relationships with demanding, complex and/or ultra high net worth clients, intermediaries and internal contacts in order to provide a quality service and provide best possible client offering and maximise returns as a whole. • To promote the highest quality of Trust and Company administration in order to minimise business risk and to encourage a culture of compliance with policies, appropriate risk management, and the principle of treating customers fairly. • To meet financial and non-financial targets as agreed with the Team Leader in order to maintain a sustainable fiduciary business. • To demonstrate a thorough understanding of your personal fiduciary responsibility in order to protect the client, yourself, the team and the business. • To act as a technician and expert point of reference for the team and to support the development of team members • To act as a ‘A’ Signatory. The successful candidate will have: • In-depth knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of a Fiduciary. • Command of industry best practice in relation to Trust and Company administration. • Track record of supervisory or management role. • Knowledge of other related jurisdictions laws in relation to “Trust Company Business”. • Relevant professional qualification e.g. Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators or Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration (pre-professional) or STEP Diploma in Offshore Trust Management or Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers/IFS or STEP Diploma for England and Wales (Trusts and Estates).
