Job DescriptionOur client is a fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Trainee/Trust and Retirement Structures Administrator. This role is also open for candidates who have previous experience. Overall role purpose: This role involves administration work to support a portfolio of retirement planning structures. Responsibilities will include a range of duties to support a small portfolio of retirement planning structures, reporting to the Trust Manager but with supervision from a senior member within the team. Key responsibilities will include: • Assisting colleagues in processing client requests for information in a timely and accurate way. • Learning to understand activities of client entities. • Preparing minutes, resolutions, arranging the execution of documentation and ensuring client files are well maintained in an orderly fashion. • Maintaining a diary of actions made and planned for client entities ensuring a thorough and organised approach that takes account of compliance and due diligence responsibilities. • Working as part of a small team to achieve the departmental standards. • Taking responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed annual performance appraisal objectives. • Other duties as may be required from time to time in accordance with the demands of the role and development of the services provided. The successful candidate will have: • At least 1 years’ experience in a finance sector environment (desirable but not essential). • Hold, or be willing to study towards a relevant professional qualification (desirable but not essential).
