Trainee / Junior Fund Administrator – Valuations Team
Job DescriptionOur client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit a Trainee / Junior Fund Administrator - Valuations Team. This role would be suited to a Trainee/slightly experienced administrator to train into this role. The role will initially be to produce valuations/junior tasks for the valuation team. There is also possible scope for additional duties to be picked up in the share registration area so this will be a nice all round job for some looking to find get a good grounding in funds admin. Key responsibilities will include: ? Prepare valuations on a timely basis and in accordance with client & regulatory deadlines ? Ensure the proper administration of client funds, concentrating on providing quality day to day service for the team?s client portfolio ? Liaise with external service providers, auditors, bankers, investment managers, custodians etc. ? Communicate effectively and concisely with other team members. ? Maintain a courteous, positive and professional manner with both external and internal clients /colleagues at all times ? Have an understanding of fund industry regulatory requirements ? Become familiar with team?s existing allocated client portfolio ? Pro-actively work with internal individuals and groups to ensure timely delivery of client data ? Ability to resolve queries/find solutions ? Work on agreed training requirements and performance goals to ensure on-going development ? Consult and escalate issues and exceptions to senior team members to alleviate problems or risks The successful candidate will have: ? Some relevant previous experience. ? Good academic background.
