Job DescriptionOur client is a leading provider of telecom and broadband services is seeking to recruit a Temporary Customer Support Agent working 21.5 hours per week working on a shift rota basis to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays with effect from 7th December 2016. The temporary contract will be for 10 months.21 The successful applicant will be the first line of customer support for the company in Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man offices for their whole customer base, covering all products and services. Job purpose: • Duties will include answering and resolving customer queries in a professional and friendly manner, putting the customer first at all times and focussing on first call resolution and excellent service. • Provide general support covering products and services including but not limited to: Sales, Service, Provisioning, Billing, Payments, Faults, SOS, Assist, Conference bureau and Mobile help desk. • To provide routine administration including but not limited to: Registrations, Data input, Data maintenance, Reporting and additional activities as required. • Flexible workings hours; to an agreed level. Working within a team applicants should note that the role will include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. The successful candidate will have: • Excellent telephone manner and listening skills and experience of Customer Service in a retail, hospitality or office based environment. • Strong relationship and networking skills. • Competent word processing and document formatting skills.
