Job DescriptionOur client is a funds administrator services company seeking to recruit a Team Accountant. This role is open for candidates who are either looking for a full time role or permanent. This is also open for candidates who are looking for a permanent role or a contract. Role and objective: • To complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures including limited companies, limited partnerships, trusts, foundations incorporated and protected cell companies. • The Team Accountant is expected to support other colleagues within the Company to ensure that the overall efficiency of the Company is maintained. • Also assist with the responsibilities of other Client Relationship Managers from time to time. Key responsibilities will include: • To bookkeep, or to review the book-keeping of colleagues, the transactions of a range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary; • To complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of entities including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of quarterly investor reports, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc queries; • Assist with planning of annual audits and liaise with clients to establish timetables for the receipt of valuations and advisers reports and other relevant information; • Liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process; • Calculate and monitor capital adequacy of licensed entities in accordance with regulations; The successful candidate will have: • Relevant previous experience of working in a similar role. • Relevant professional qualification or be working towards a one (preferably having commenced ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level). Consideration will be given to time-qualified individuals. • Sound technical financial services knowledge. • Sound understanding of the regulatory environment. • Solid written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
