Job DescriptionOur client is a funds administration and private equity firm is seeking to recruit a Tax Reporting Associate. Role: The role is to work with the team and company?s group in liaison with the company?s Funds business? advisers and service providers to manage the tax related records, withholding calculations and reporting applicable to the funds business and their investors. Key responsibilities will include: ? Liaison with administration team and service providers to manage the collection, recording and validation of all forms of tax reporting data from investors. ? Liaison with internal and external advisers on issues escalated from documentation process. ? On-going review of fund structures and tax reporting data to ensure it is always up to date. ? Assisting with planning and implementing changes to administration processes resulting from various tax reporting requirements (e.g. K-1s, 1042-s, FATCA & CRS) ? Assisting administration team in their communication with investors regarding required documentation, in particular with regard to ?flow through? investors ? Assisting fund administrators with tax related queries, coordinating with external advisers where needed ? Extracting withholding tax calculations reports from systems and undertaking verification tests of output ? Liaison with service providers on data required for US, UK, and other jurisdictions tax reporting and updating of calculations and reconciliations between different reporting (eg K-1 to 1042s) The successful candidate will have: ? Relevant previous experience in a similar role. ? Knowledge of international taxation arrangements. ? Relevant professional qualifications or willingness to undertake professional study.
