Systems Development and Support Officer Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a funds and fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Systems Development and Support Officer. This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey or Belfast. Overall purpose of the role: Responsible, in conjunction with the other members of the team, for all aspects of user support/training together with assisting in planning and implementation of projects. There is a particular focus on supporting and developing the use of Viewpoint and Microsoft Office, although this can be widened to include any of the other products utilised by the Group as required. Systems used currently include (but not limited to) Viewpoint, Microsoft Office, C6 Intelligence, Virtual Boardroom, Directors Desk, Bloomberg, IRIS, Sage, various online banking platforms (together company’s “Core Systems”). The successful candidate will have: • SQL report writing capability essential. • Advanced Microsoft Office skills essential. • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server technology. • Knowledge of Visual Studio and SSRS preferred. • Experience of database management and application support/training. • Knowledge of XML reporting an advantage. • Experience with Core Systems or similar an advantage. • Knowledge of financial services business/accounting an advantage. • I.T. or Project planning qualification an advantage.
