Job DescriptionAmazing opportunity for talented chefs on Guernsey, Channel Islands: Sous Chef role with immediate start! Our client, a stunning 4 star 22 bedroomed property open all year round is looking for a driven professional to assist in running the kitchen and support their Head Chef into creating vibrant Classic French& Modern British fusion menus. The applicants must have had at least 5 years in a senior role in a quality establishment and have a good all round knowledge in all areas of the kitchen. With a strong brigade of 8 chefs and 3 kitchen porters you will be required to lead by both personal and professional example. The restaurant caters for 70 covers offering a la carte options, set menus, but also caters for private dining, weddings and larger parties. Our client is always looking for innovative ideas and for solutions to improve their services; all input is welcomed and appreciated. The restaurant?s kitchens were completely renovated 3 years ago, and the right candidate will be working in a smart and well equipped environment. Working 5 days a week on a variety of shifts, you will of be responsible when the Head Chef is absent from the premises and assist him and the team for best results at all times.
