Job Description

Our client is a fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager, Guernsey. Ideally the position is based in Jersey but would consider an exceptional Guernsey based candidate. Key responsibilities will include: ? Working in conjunction with the wider team, the successful job holder will have specific ownership for delivery of the organise growth target and will be expected to contribute to the delivery of the Groups organic growth. ? Use contacts and network to drive top lines sales to achieve personal and company growth revenue targets ? to be achieved by undertaking the relevant meetings per month with existing and potential generators of new business income. ? Deliver new business propositions and support senior staff ?pitching? for new business. ? Encourage high quality cross referrals across all business lines. ? Support the business development, tax and client administration teams in delivering new product initiatives as well as improving revenue from existing product offerings ? to include presentation of these products to existing and potential business introducers and clients. ? Wider travel to international destinations on an ad-hoc basis is likely to be required as opportunities arise. The successful candidate will have: ? Fiduciary experience. ? Have a dynamic approach and a successful track record of network development and new client acquisition and retention. ? Have strong business development and presentational skills and an ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals. ? Have a strong commercial understanding of the fiduciary services industry and good working knowledge of the tax environment that the Group operates in. ? Have an understanding of the risk management framework applicable within the fiduciary services industry. ? Ideally possess an industry relevant qualification. ? Must be able to prove that they have thrived in an entrepreneurial business development environment and be able to demonstrate significant success in a similar role.
