Job Description

Our client is an international insurance company seeking to recruit a Senior Administrator, Transactions, Operations department. Key responsibilities will include: ? Timely and accurate processing of surrender (claims) requests for clients ? Ensure the correct routing of outward payments, including providing training and coaching to other staff within the team. ? Co-ordinate and process unit linked transactions to agreed service standards. ? Deal with queries and investigations received from customers & Regions promptly and accurately ? Ensure fund switch and redirection requests are properly actioned with a high degree of accuracy. ? Authorise the movement of transactions on the computer systems ? Assist the Associate, Transactions with fund maintenance/closures/mergers ? Help develop & test new work processes and computer functionality ? Delegation of work to team members and the mentoring of staff ? Assist with the investigation and clearance of reconciliations items (including policy suspense) and deal promptly with returned payments. The successful candidate will have: ? Experience in processing transactions and payments and have a good knowledge of routing information. ? Experience in reconciliations, investigation and clearance would also be of benefit. ? Must be capable of sound judgements in dealing with policy holder transactions, and demonstrate good interpersonal skills with individuals from varied backgrounds especially in a mentoring capacity. ? Attention to detail and accuracy are also key requirements for this role.
