Our client is a large insurance company seeking to recruit a Senior Accounting Manager. Key responsibilities will include: ? Overall responsibility for the accounting and reporting activity involving regular interaction with various stakeholders: ? Provide positive leadership and steering of the team supporting the General Manager as required. ? Professionally, efficiently and accurately manage all inward and outward communications. ? Final review and release of management accounts, trial balances and financial statements to IFRS standard. ? Collaborate and guide team to ensure appropriate accounting treatment of contractual obligations. ? Deal with team members? development including recruitment, training, development, appraisals, etc. ? Attend Board Meetings, including the presentation of accounting, investment and company secretarial matters to the Board. ? Playing a key strategic role in ensuring the team follows the Office Procedures ? Attend and participate in Senior Management Team meetings. The successful candidate will have: ? A flair for numbers and ACCA/ACA or equivalent accountancy qualification with a minimum of 3 years? post qualification experience in an accountancy or financial environment. ? 5 years? experience in the finance industry. ? Strong IFRS Knowledge. ? Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in addition to exposure to at least one accounting software package.
