Job DescriptionOur client is an international travel group seeking to recruit a Reservations Sales Consultant. Role: Working within a World Class Call Centre environment, the reservations Sales Agent is responsible for sales, effectively handling travel bookings & enquiries over the phone, whilst maintaining a superior standard of customer service in order to achieve the company's sales & service targets. Book & package their product range including, flights, accommodation & transfers. Working in a team environment, the role is focused on service excellence & being the expert on the product range which will enable the company to be a World Class Centre. Key responsibilities will include: • Handle customer telephone enquiries efficiently and accurately • Plan, sell & promote the product range & process customer bookings • Maintain accurate and comprehensive knowledge of the product range • Provide excellence in service to all internal and external customers. • Action and maintain airline queues • Make outbound after sales follow-up calls • Action reports & booking maintenance • Action customer correspondence from multimedia sources • Provide back office support • Participate in team activities, incentives & group targets. • All other duties as reasonably required by management. The successful candidate will have: • Prior experience within a customer sales & service environment (essential). • Office administration and/or computer skills are preferable. • Travel Industry experience is highly regarded but not necessary. • Travel industry knowledge, including destination information, airline, and city & country codes along with an understating of the booking process.
