Private Banking Relationship Manager, Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is an international bank seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for providing a highly professional service to a large book of HNWI and UNHWI private banking clients. This dynamic role requires close, proactive contact with private clients and their advisors to ensure that their banking and investment needs are fully met. Close collaboration with in-house investment specialists is a key part of the role. Key responsibilities will include: ? Partnering with sophisticated clients to advise on all aspects of their banking and investment activities. ? Developing a deep understanding of client needs and translating them into tailored solutions from across the whole bank. ? Working closely with product specialists from within the bank (portfolio managers, investment consultants, credit team) to deliver the most appropriate solutions to clients. ? Successfully developing existing client relationships and actively seeking to acquire new business in line with key performance indicators. ? Planning, preparing and effectively leading meetings with clients. Occasional travel will be required to meet clients. ? Close collaboration with Assistant Relationship Managers and other support teams to ensure efficient execution of client payment instructions, securities trades, loans, deposits and foreign exchange. ? Adherence to the bank's code of conduct and all applicable laws, regulations and policies. The successful candidate will: ? Ideally possess a Level 6 RDR investment qualification, however those with a Level 4 qualification who are willing to study to Level 6 will also be considered. ? Client-oriented, sales focused and comfortable working to short deadlines with challenging objectives ? An interest in current affairs and investments is a distinct advantage. ? Good numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
