Private Banking Account Manager, Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank seeking to recruit a Private Banking Account Manager. Key responsibilities will include: ? Pro-actively develop relationships with bank?s Group?s Relationship Managers who seek to book shared relationship business on the Guernsey Booking Platform, identifying service enhancement opportunities, implementing changes as necessary and where appropriate introducing product specialists. ? When dealing with client instructions, maintain the highest professional and ethical standards with regard to money laundering and general due diligence practice. ? Ensure that the rationale for transactions over the accounts is in line with the client?s profile and/or is clearly documented especially with respect to payments traffic. ? Handle all account-opening documentation and client profiling/KYC issues at the relationship take-on stage. Ensure that appropriate documentation is in place at the outset so that the account transactions are compliant with their documentary and MICOS requirements. ? Receipt of instructions relating to payments, securities, money market and foreign exchange, carrying out due diligence regarding nature of transaction and authority of client/agents to give instruction. Timely placing of orders with internal dealing desk, liaison with back office/settlements and reporting execution. ? By the end of year one, the candidate will need to have taken direct responsibility for approx. 150 shared relationship accounts and also to provide cover for team colleagues on their accounts. The successful candidate will have: ? The candidate will have achieved a Level 4 [minimum] RDR professional financial qualification (or be actively progressing through a suitable study course to attain this level). ? The candidate will progress through the bank?s 'Frontline Training' program and achieve a pass mark in the end-of-course examinations.
