Part time Compliance Officer Administrator, Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer / Administrator. This role would suit an “all-rounder” looking for flexible hours with basic Trust Administration and Compliance experience. 25 hours per week, daily 5 hours a day – flexible times. Purpose of role: The Compliance Officer/Administrator will have a split role between Compliance and Administration, roughly 50/50 but depending on operational requirements. As Administrator, they will be responsible for liaising with the company’s London office on a portfolio of clients, and for undertaking all of the administration duties associated with this role. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring client CDD documentation is up to date and accurate. This role will have a reporting line to the Trust Manager. Key responsibilities will include: • Administer a portfolio of clients introduced by their London office • Liaise with colleagues in London regarding new business enquiries and ongoing administration of existing clients • Liaise with clients regarding the obtaining of all necessary CDD for new business, and updating of documentation for existing business • Undertaking probity checks as necessary • Dealing with the administration of opening new structures • Dealing with the administration of closing existing structures • Mentoring and assisting other staff members • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be necessary from time to time The successful candidate will have: • Relevant previous experience. • Basic Trust administration experience. • Basic due diligence experience. • Attention to detail, good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills are important. • 5 Series experience preferable.
