Job Description

Our client is the world’s fastest-growing and most diverse insurance manager seeking to recruit a Part or full time Client Accounting Executive. Overview: This role sits within the Client Accounting department of the company as a member of the ‘Technical’ team reporting to team leader and will fulfil a Client Accounting Executive role on a specified portfolio of clients. Key responsibilities will include: • Responsible for all client accounting, tax, regulatory, treasury and other company administration issues and ensuring all agreed timetables and deadlines for financial, regulatory and Board reporting are met • Adheres to the company’s procedures Manual at all times. • Liaises at all times with all other client service team members, so that all team members are aware of all current client issues. • Liaise with parent group departments e.g. primarily: finance, treasury, tax and company secretarial • Review and sign off all CAA & CTA(CTE/CTM) work • Prepare management accounts and statutory financial statements, including input to and maintenance of the accounting records • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (UK/US GAAP, IFRS, SORPs etc.) • Prepare budgets, forecasts and any other financial reports that may be requested by the client from time to time • Perform regular solvency and capital adequacy monitoring • Prepare and files the annual insurance return to the GFSC (reviewed by CSD and Compliance Officer) • Ensures currency of Client Due Diligence documentation and maintenance of the permanent file (including upon take-on/new client: completion of new company/cell checklists, set up of permanent and other files, accounting records etc.) • Attend board meetings and presents all financial, tax, treasury, compliance, company secretarial and administrative matters • Ensure all Matters Arising from board meetings are appropriately tasked and followed up The successful candidate will have: • ACCA qualification [or equivalent qualification or qualified by relevant experience]. • Confident communicating with senior members of client companies. • A high level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office.
