Job Description

Our client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit a New Business Assistant Manager. Purpose of the role: To support the New Business Manager to ensure that new clients and prospects are brought on efficiently and with a good first impression of company. The New Business Department is fast-paced and a client-facing environment where first impressions count. The role is essential to meet continued growth in the number of client proposals, to contribute to company’s winning business and setting up client structures. Key responsibilities will include: • Assist the New Business Manager in the day to day running of the take on team • Prepare and review regulatory applications as part of the General Partner and Fund set-up process • Review and comment on client documents including LPAs and other agreements • Understand and execute delegated elements of new business processes • Preparation and convening of board meetings, draft minutes and table all relevant documents • Prepare payments of fees and expenses • Undertake company secretarial tasks • Respond to client queries • Undertake general administration tasks for the team’s client base • Maintain the various re gisters for the teams clients • Help on matters relating to customer due diligence • Basic understanding of bookkeeping/accounting • Good numeracy and IT skills The successful candidate will have: • A good understanding of Private Equity structures. • A sound understanding of the GFSC process for regulated entities/vehicles and knowledge of fund documentation. • Working knowledge of Company Secretarial and regulatory issues. • A good understanding of KYC/CDD requirements. • Accuracy and attention to detail - ensuring that all work sent to clients/investors reaches company’s accepted professional standards. • Competent with Excel spread sheets & Microsoft Word. • Commitment to develop a strong understanding to undertake the wide spectrum of administrative tasks of Private Equity Fund Administration. • One of the below mentioned qualifications, IDFA - International Diploma in Financial Administration (formerly CoA) / ICSA - Certificate In Offshore Finance & Administration / CAT - P1 to P3 / AAT - Foundation/Intermediate / ICSA – Foundation / ACCA - F1 to F3.
