Job DescriptionOur client is an alternative asset law firm seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary. Responsibilities: • Evaluating, collating and presenting inward communications; answering and screening all telephone calls, dealing with queries and forwarding matters of relevance to appropriate parties • To collect all post on a daily basis, scan, date stamp and distribute • To collect couriers, scan, date stamp and distribute to the recipient. Send couriers as requested to include the completion of the online billing slip. • Diary and travel management • To collect and complete scanning and filing from the staff as needed • To undertake general office duties such as sending couriers, emailing, photocopying and booking of conference calls as well as maintaining records of disbursements and expenses including those to be reclaimed from clients • Maintaining the Document Management System which includes the filing of scanned documentation in Viewpoint DMS and maintain the manual filing system • Maintaining efficient and effective office services by managing all office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence, and designing and maintaining filing systems. The successful candidate will have: • Previous secretarial / administration experience. • A background in funds would be an advantage. • Good organisational and interpersonal skills. • Highly PC literate with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Positive and flexible approach. • Excellent written and verbal communication skill; able to communicate effectively with directors, partners, lawyers, suppliers and other third parties For more information please email: email@example.com or call: +44 1481 723221.
