Head of Operations, Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is an IT services company seeking to recruit a Head of Operations with the potential to lead to Director level in due course. Key responsibilities will include: ? To promote managed and other services to existing and new clients. ? To deliver the best possible operational services to clients. ? To drive improvement in operational performance. ? To maximise resource utilization. ? To minimise cost of operations. ? To lead, motivate and manage the Guernsey Teams, so that they achieve agreed targets. ? To maximise the capability of the operational teams through agreed staff training and development programmes. ? To lead and co-ordinate all major bids, PQQ?s, ITTs and RFPs. ? To ensure consistency of approach of operations, policies and shared services across the Group. ? To help develop and meet the strategic goals of the group. ? Works closely with the Guernsey Managing Director on ensuring Guernsey runs as a successful business. ? Any other duties as required. The successful candidate will have: ? Several years? relevant experience in a senior role in a customer service organization. ? Previous exposure to or experience of complex organisations, preferably in or including an IT environment. ? General management experience, delivering capital investment and/or process-related improvements. ? Experience of contract development and performance management. ? Demonstrable experience and success in business performance/process improvement and management. ? Has held responsibility for the management of significant budgets and staff. ? Degree or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
