Job DescriptionOur client provides tailored Trust, Fiduciary, Fund and corporate services is seeking to recruit a Fund Administrator - Shareholder Services & Valuations. Position summary: To assist the Fund Shareholder Services team in the administration of a portfolio of funds. To complete all assigned tasks and processes, operating within the controls, guidelines and procedures as established by the Managing Director. Key responsibilities will include: • Dealing with the day to day administration of the Funds administered by the Team, including preparing pre dealing reports, writing up deal tickets and issuing contract notes • Collecting Due Diligence on new shareholders in accordance with the GFSC • Reconciling the Funds client accounts on a monthly basis • Preparing and paying of Dividends and Distributions • Preparing and paying of Trail Commissions and Front End Fees • Making payments between client accounts and the Funds and to • Shareholders • Liaise with external service providers, auditors, bankers, investment managers, custodians etc. • Communicate effectively and concisely with other team members • Maintain a courteous, positive and professional manner with both external and internal clients /colleagues at all times • Have an understanding of fund industry regulatory requirements • Become familiar with team’s existing allocated client portfolio • Ensure quality day to day service for team’s client portfolio • Take responsibility for self-development • Work on agreed training requirements and performance goals to ensure on- going development • Consult and escalate issues and exceptions to senior team members to alleviate problems or risks The successful candidate will have: • A commitment to a career in the Guernsey Fund Industry. • Strong written & verbal communication skills. • A commitment to providing excellent client service. • A detail orientated and analytical approach.
