Job DescriptionOur client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit a Financial Systems Accountant - Report Writer to join their pioneering systems team. Role: Led by the Financial Systems Manager, the candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing the core financial systems framework including processes and reporting systems. Key responsibilities will include: • Interpretation of accounting and administration requirements and configuration of the systems to meet these demands, including report writing • Assisting with the application development process, to include identifying requirements and project management • Assisting in the development of an implementation framework which supports the growing needs of the business, and play an active part in the deployment strategy • Assisting in application documentation, reconciliation and testing activities • Assisting with client contact during migration projects The successful candidate will have: • Strong technical financial services industry knowledge. • Accountancy qualification (part or fully qualified) and relevant business experience. • Advanced PC skills notably MS Office suite (MS Word & MS Excel), word processing and spread sheet skills are essential. • Forward thinker, with strong problem solving skills and methodical approach. • Training will be provided, both in house for relevant technical knowledge.
