Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Corporate Actions Officer. Purpose of role: Processing of all coupons & dividends and processing of all Corporate Actions for Client’s Assets within the timeframes specified. Key responsibilities will include: • Ensuring that clients receive the correct coupon/dividend payment based on their holding as at the ex-date, the dividend rate and the applicable tax rate. • Ensuring receipt of relevant information from all agents with regard to scrip dividend options. • Logging and Responding to Custodian Agents on specified deadlines for Scrip Dividends and Currency Payment Options. • Monitoring and updating dividend information as and when received from agents. • Advising agents of action required on the dividend option, on behalf of our clients. • Input of resulting dividends onto Olympic. • Processing Bond Redemption received from our agent. • Settlements • Stock reconciliations • Corporate Actions • Ensuring receipt of all relevant information from all agents with regard to all Corporate Actions. • Advising Clients/Client relationship Managers of the event, setting response deadline for action to be taken. • Olympic system input of resulting lines of stock when confirmed by agent. • Resolving discrepancies caused by Corporate events as provided by the Stock Reconciliation Clerk /or Cash Reconciliation Clerk. The successful candidate will have: • Previous Banking Operations/Corporate Actions experience. • Strong educational background.
