Job Description

Our client is a private bank seeking to recruit a Contract Settlements Officer (full time - fixed term contract until December 2017). Purpose of role: To process trades. Input and approve all trades and ensure trades are processed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities: • Review the Custodian agent reports each morning ensuring that all trades are matched. Contacting brokers and clients where there are settlement problems. • Review cash agent’s reconciliation to ensure all sale proceeds have been received and investigate any outstanding funds re trades. • Preparing and inputting trades, ensuring the accuracy of the contract details and settlement instructions. • Tying up SWIFT acknowledgements to the trades. • Pulling trades out from diary daily. • Checking trades have settled. • Chasing late settlements. The successful candidate will have: • Proven experience within a similar role. • IAQ qualification (desirable). • Be a strong team player with a proven ability in consistently meeting deadlines.
