Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank seeking to recruit a Contract Senior Trust Officer - 4 month FTC (maternity cover). Purpose of role: Maintain and deliver a high quality of administration for a varied portfolio of clients, maintaining relationships as required to provide an overall quality service. Key responsibilities will include: • Maintain and deliver the administration of a portfolio of client cases, maintaining relationships as required to provide an overall quality service. • Manage a mixed portfolio of Company & Trust structures; • Maintain Navision static data and activities for portfolio and ensure completeness/accuracy. • Develop strong relationships with clients, advisors and intermediaries both internal and external, including ensuring: all correspondence is responded to or holding letter sent within 48 hours; valuations are sent out within 48 hours of receipt where necessary, client complaints are minimised through excellent service and that all complaints are responded to within 24 hours of receipt. • Ensure Management are fully appraised of all pertinent issues relating to portfolio, including filing/updating any Risk Committee reports on a monthly basis; • Prepare minutes and resolutions as required; • Maintain Personal Development Plan in conjunction with Line Manager and ensure suitable preparation for all appraisal meetings, providing evidence of achievements as appropriate. • Demonstrate leadership skills and seniority by making oneself available as a first point of contact, prior to management, for other members of staff. • Act as “B” signatory • Understand the important risks areas that are likely to impact on target -: market risk, non-compliance risk, image / reputational risk and legal risk The successful candidate will have: • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant Trust and Company experience. • Hold or near completion of a relevant professional qualification, (minimum requirement would be Diploma level).
