Contract NOC Support Technician Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a leading provider of telecom and broadband services is seeking to recruit NOC Support Technician. This is a contract role likely to be approx. 3 months. Job purpose: • NOC Support Technicians will ensure incidents, problems and customer requests are resolved efficiently and correctly across all CIIM networks. • Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to, answering customer calls, problem logging, fault investigation, system monitoring, routine maintenance and assisting with some project work. The successful candidate will be: • Technically skilled with strong analytical and problem solving skills. • A basic knowledge of IP routing and switching environments or IT is also highly desirable. • Ideally hold a valid and clean driving license (Car). • To train to obtain Mimecast L1 certification as a minimum and L2 (preferable). • Qualification in computer science or related field is desirable but not essential. • Experience in Customer Service or Operational environment is desirable.
