Job Description

Our client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Contract Middle Office Administrator. This is a contract role for 12 months. Role: To ensure the Middle Offices provide added value links between Front Offices and Back Offices beyond the Immune concepts. To facilitate communication between Back Office and Front Office and ensure information is produced and circulated as necessary. To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Group policy in Middle Office activities. To maintain the Group Middle Office common guidelines, methodology and procedures manual. Key responsibilities will include: • Account Opening & Static Data Amendments - Checks and validation including approval of low risk account packs , pre and post entry onto the Olympic system • Post Account Opening procedures – Ensure permanent documents are correctly archived. Ensure CRMs follow bank procedures post account opening. Confirm Welcome Letters have been sent out to new clients • Periodic Client Review (PCR) - Monitoring and administration to include providing MI to the FO management • Management information production (MIS) - Produce control related MIS (but NOT the manipulation/interpretation of MIS that is not for control purposes). TCF MIS Collation for dashboard reports. Produce monthly dashboard identifying issues identified by MO activity • Payment validation (including internal transfers) - Ensure all payments are made in accordance with the bank’s own policies and procedures. • Retained Mail - Check to ensure mandates are held for all Retained Mail clients. • Ensure that retained mail is kept & despatched in accordance with bank policies and procedures. • Operations Control - Carry out required operational checks for all periodic reports as prescribed in the MO procedures. Check that all audits required are completed in a timely manner. Perform client residency checks (e.g. USA) for E-Banking. The successful candidate will have: • Relevant previous experience.
