Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank seeking to recruit a Contract Funds Retrocessions Reconciliations Officer (full time - fixed term contract 6 months). Purpose of Role: To reconcile and process retrocession fees & provide reception duty cover in conjunction with the receptionist on an ongoing basis. Key responsibilities will include: • Working with an information management tool (Business Objects) to compare in-house retrocession calculations with figures provided by Fund Providers • Monitoring the receipt of retrocession from Fund Providers, reconciling and allocating the funds between bank’s entities as appropriate. • Liaising with Fund Providers (or their Agents) with retrocession queries. Actively chase outstanding items. • Contacting Fund Providers (or their Agents) with questions relating to retrocession calculations and payments, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues independently where possible, seeking management direction and guidance when appropriate. • Distributing rebates received to the various bank’s entities on a monthly basis • Completing month end reporting and Accrual for Finance Team • Running Quarterly AUM Reporting for both FIM and bank’s entities and monitoring outstanding rebates • Any Ad-Hoc duties required including cover of reception duties in conjunction with the receptionist on.
