Contract Client Data Team Leader Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Contract Client Data Team Leader. This is a contract role until December 2017. Purpose of role: To provide an efficient service to customers. Responsible for the opening and maintaining of client, account and portfolio data in the bank’s core systems for all regions. Key responsibilities will include: • Undertake the role of Client Data Team Leader / authoriser for all sites. Supervising of the Client Data team to ensure timely and accurate processing of; Client opening /closing / static data maintenance, Account opening /closing / static data maintenance, Portfolio opening /closing / static data maintenance, Debit Card opening /closing / static data maintenance • Handle complex and sensitive customer requests and problems, using experience to identify a range of options and take appropriate actions or make recommendations • Continually review processes, procedures and systems, in conjunction with the team, the rest of the business and customers as appropriate, to ensure that opportunities for improvement are recognised and acted upon and changing customer needs are met • Investigate complaints, queries and problems from internal and external customers and suppliers, digging deeper to understand the underlying issues and acting to ensure they are appropriately addressed - Concerns champion for banking • Provide support to colleagues, sharing information and offering assistance when needed within the team • Identify issues and problems with data, service quality, internal processes and procedures, recommending improvements and seeking approval for action. • Contribute to appraisals • Coaching and training of staff • Assist other team leaders when required • Ensure all aspects of the compliance manual are complied with in full.
