Job Description

Our client is a fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Contract Administrator – Client Services. This would be for a period of circa 6 months to cover for a sabbatical period. Role: To effectively administer a portfolio of client entities. Key responsibilities will include: This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs. • Manage a portfolio of client entities, undertaking all routine administration for clients accurately and efficiently, maintaining a courteous and professional approach with both external and internal clients at all times, referring any complex enquiries to a suitably qualified senior member of staff. • Demonstrate an ability to draft certain legal documents (Powers of Attorney, Letters of Authority, Deed of Appointment, Deeds of Indemnity etc.) and able to undertake preliminary reviews of external legal documents to highlight errors or discrepancies. • Update accounting ledgers accurately and review sets of accounts to ensure they accurately reflect the assets and activities of the trust/company and develop an understanding of capital and income splits. • Demonstrate a basic understanding of external regulations and legislation and develop an understanding of the internal policies and procedures including Anti-money laundering risk ratings and signing limits. The successful candidate will have: • An understanding of Trust and Company law and administration along with a minimum of 18 months’ experience in an office environment. • Should hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualification (STEP/ICSA) (desirable). • Develop a good understanding of external regulations and legislation and of internal policies and procedures, including anti-money laundering, risk assessment and signing authority limits. • Good IT skills and an ability to demonstrate skill set across the spectrum of the business systems. • Working towards good business practices including time management, time sheet maintenance and interpersonal skills.
