Job Description

Our client is a private bank and fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer. Key responsibilities will include: ? Completion of the performance of the controls assigned to Compliance and required to ensure full adherence to the provisions of the bank?s US Customer and US Cross Border Policy for the Private Banking Business (?US Cross Border Policy?). ? On-goingly to ensure that the controls, processes and documentation referable to such controls are maintained current and that any matters relating to US Cross Border Policy compliance are appropriately handled. ? Provide local guidance on US Cross Border Policy related matters, liaise with relevant stakeholders as required and assist in the coordination and delivery of related training. ? Effective communication and liaison with the US Central Team relating to US Cross Border Policy matters. ? Ensure that any updates to US Cross Border Policy are properly reflected in the local manual/procedures and information related to such updates is communicated to all staff on a timely basis. ? Immediate escalation to Management and key stakeholders of any material findings arising from completion of the Control performance. The successful candidate will have: ? ICA International Diploma in Compliance or plans to work towards such a qualification. ? Minimum of 5 years? background in a compliance or risk or operations function. ? Excellent written, analytical, research and communication skills (both internally and externally) and be able to multi-task and complete projects on time. ? Pragmatic approach to issue resolution. ? Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills.
