Job Description

Our client is the largest group of actuaries and consultants in the Channel Islands seeking to recruit a Compliance and Insurance Management Officer. Key responsibilities will include: ? Reviewing and preparing annual compliance and MLRO reports for their regulated companies; ? Contributing to the management of their insurance clients including preparation and review of compliance monitoring reports. ? Support for compliance reports and reviews as required. ? Assisting in providing periodic statutory returns to regulators. ? Assisting in provision of outsourced compliance services. ? Reviewing and drafting procedures and compliance manuals and business risk assessments for internal and external businesses. ? Undertaking reviews of compliance for regulated and non-regulated companies. ? Assisting in the review of business continuity arrangements. ? Assisting with compliance and anti-money laundering training. The successful candidate will have: ? 2/3 years? experience as a compliance officer. ? English and Maths at A Level Grade A ? B is desirable. ? Compliance/AML qualification or professional body accreditation is desirable. ? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. ? There will be the opportunity to study for a professional qualification if desired.
