Company Secretary, Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a funds and fiduciary services company seeking to recruit a Company Secretary. There are more than one roles available at various levels up to Managerial level. Key responsibilities will include: ? Provide company secretarial services to a designated number of corporate clients of the company. ? Take an active role in providing company secretarial services to support new and prospective funds within the Group. ? To ensure best practice delivery of corporate governance and company secretarial principles within the company?s group. The successful candidate will have: ? At least 5 years? experience working in a Company Secretarial area, fund administration or similar environment. ? Either qualified ICSA/STEP or equivalent qualification (or advanced training toward these qualifications) would be an advantage. ? The ability to keep clear and concise records and to add value to the Company Secretarial role. ? Good experience of writing concise and accurate minutes. ? Very good working knowledge of Word and Excel. A working knowledge and experience of Viewpoint and/or other systems would be preferred. ? Familiarity with the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008, the operation of the online filing system at the Guernsey Registry and the regulatory requirements of the GFSC, CISE, LSE and other stock exchanges as required by company?s clients.
