Job DescriptionOur client is a law firm seeking to recruit a Client take on Administrator. It is a fast paced role which requires potential candidates to be flexible re hours (7am – 7pm with two shifts of 7am – 3pm or 11am – 7pm).
Overall purpose of the role:
To undertake a range of compliance and risk management duties, which will be focused on ensuring the firm, including the regulated businesses, regulatory obligations and risk management objectives are fulfilled. These include obligations that are determined by applicable laws and regulations covering anti-money laundering (AML), financial services businesses, data protection and confidentiality requirements compliance and risk management policies and standards.
To foster a culture of compliance across the firm and assist the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer to identify, assess, and adequately mitigate regulatory compliance risks to ensure that the firm's regulatory compliance and related operational risks are satisfactorily managed.
The successful candidate:
• This is a great role for someone who has some experience in a legal/professional services business and who'd like to learn/enhance their management of complex client on-boarding requirements whilst working as part of a small, highly efficient team.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a Compliance, Risk or operational control- type function or within a Financial Services Business or law firm.
• Experience of working with lawyers or professionals, client due diligence documents and matter management systems is preferred.
• At least an awareness of regulated law firm activities and associated corporate and fiduciary services, including complex structures, in Jersey and/or Guernsey, Cayman, BVI, HK and UK.
