Job DescriptionOur client is a leading marine fiduciary specialist providing a range of services is seeking to recruit a Client Services Officer. This has the potential to become a manager level role. The successful candidate could spend 1 to 2 years learning the business before going on to head a team and be promoted to manager. Role: To administer a portfolio of company & crew employment related structures, including yacht registration and administration services, ensuring that clients receive an efficient and professional service. This will also include assisting more senior members of the company with routine aspects of the day to day administration of clients. Assisting with the training & development of members of the company?s staff, whilst taking responsibility for his/her own training and development. The successful candidate will: ? Understand the principles of yacht manning & crew employment. Develop and keep abreast of changes in crew employment legislation (e.g. MLC 2006) and maintain knowledge of yacht manning requirements & crew documentation required to ensure minimum safe manning levels are reached. ? Understand the principles of double entry bookkeeping and is able to read, understand and review a set of company accounts or other financial reports. ? Understand the principles and practices of fiduciary services practice. ? Have a basic and growing knowledge of the technical issues of marine practice relevant to the ownership of super yachts. ? Have a basic understanding of tax issues and jurisdictions. ? Understand the basic principles of managing financial assets.
