Job Description

Our client is a large insurance company seeking to recruit a Claims Handler. Key responsibilities will include: ? Accurate and timely review and preparation of all insurance claims matters. ? Liaise as required with external parties on obtaining data on claims. ? Monitor the settlement of claims in accordance with the policies. ? Proactively report on any erosion of aggregate. ? Contribute to the claims handling and reporting process, advising of any large loss claims to the underwriting team. ? Assist on projects. The successful candidate will: ? Hold or be willing to work towards a CII qualification. ? Previous experience within the captive insurance industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. ? Exhibit flair for timely and accurate recording of transactions with a genuine interest in claims handling work.
