Job DescriptionNEW OPPORTUNITY IN GUERNSEY FOR A Chef de partie /Senior Chef de partie Our client is a trendy and well established restaurant on St Peter Port?s seafront seeking to recruit a Chef de partie /Senior Chef de partie to complete their young and strong brigade. The is a full time permanent position in one of the most successful eateries on Guernsey focusing on British modern cuisine, and on locally sourced ingredients, spectacular local seafood and awarded dairy to mention just a few. Role overview: ? Work with the Head Chef to prepare menus, including specials ? Order, prep, and keep stocked the common ingredients for all cooking stations, including vegetables, spices, etc. ? Follow the guidance of the Head or Sous Chef in the preparation and presentation of the meals ? Abide by and enforce health codes and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and food storage areas ? Train and supervise junior chefs, including in best practices, safety, and cleanliness standards ? Check for plating accuracy (garnish, portion size, correct serving dish etc.) ?
