Job DescriptionOur client is the largest manager of insurance companies and other insurance related vehicles in Europe seeking to recruit a Business Development Assistant. Overall purpose: Responsible for supporting the New Business Director and the committee members responsible for Business Development to implement agreed business development and marketing strategies to achieve business goals within agreed budget and timelines. The candidate will also support other members of the leadership team where specific events/projects or business processes could successfully utilize their expertise. Finally the candidate will undertake administrative functions essential to the office and leadership team to allow maximum focus to be provided to the successful execution of agreed strategy and to ensure clients have an unmatched customer relationship experience with AIM Guernsey. The successful candidate will have: • Previous Office experience (preferred), especially in a related industry but a school leaver would be considered. • Additional relevant qualifications such as the Certificate in Captive Management will also be considered. • Strong Word, Power point and Excel skills. • Strong written, grammar, proof reading and editing skills. • Ability to learn new software packages for campaign and project management purposes (Eloqua, Salesforce.com etc.) • Keen to learn and pursue a career in the field of marketing and business development. • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and vendors.
