Job Description

Our client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager – Private Equity Fund Administration.

Overall purpose of the role:

Ensure the efficiency of the section is maintained and is in line with the Company’s procedures, deal with client requests for assistance and meet the Company’s SLAs. To ensure that new clients and prospects are brought on efficiently and with a good first impression of the company. A sound knowledge of Company Secretarial tasks with an ability to apply the relevant regulations and rules associated with company’s business activities and guide junior members of staff accordingly.

Key responsibilities will include:

• All work undertaken complies with the Fund’s documentation and relevant regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering regulations
• Assist the Team Manager in supervision, monitoring and appraisal of the team
• Follow Company procedure at all times.
• Utilising the available new business resource, deliver the efficient take-on process for all entities in line with the company’s processes
• Act as a first point of contact for client enquiries and to deliver a professional and competent response
• Understand and execute delegated elements of new business processes
• Co-ordinate and arrange board meetings of General Partners of funds and other companies administered in the team and ensure that all AGM’s, proxies and notices are dispatched in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 3 years working with a financial institution, preferable within P.E.
• Professional qualification such as ICSA certificate or ICSA diploma or CSQS or equivalent.
• Possess personal qualities of integrity, good communication and discretion
• A confident manner and the ability to communicate with clients effectively
