Job DescriptionOur client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager, Credit Risk.
Overall purpose of the role:
To carry out in depth reviews as necessary of all credit facilities and supporting security prepared by the Relationship Manager. Any points/issues raised are to be discussed with the Senior Manager, Risk Management prior to the relevant Credit Committee meeting.
To assist with the preparation of facility and security documentation ensuring that such documentation accurately reflects the terms of approval and to ensure that all documentation is properly executed and received at the Bank prior to the draw down of credit facilities. To hold responsibility for aligning both advocate and values for completing locally booked credit facilities.
To book credit facilities within T24 and to make sure that all information relating to the credit clients are reflected accurately within company’s core system.
To provide accurate and timely reporting of the information required to facilitate completion of board, head office and regulatory returns.
To participate fully on working parties which senior management may nominate for the overall benefit of Guernsey Operation.
The successful candidate will ideally:
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience although candidates with more experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge of credit risk appraisal and structuring techniques together with interpretation of company, trust, fund etc. financial statements and cash flow analysis techniques.
• Sound report writing skills.
