Assistant Financial Account Manager, Guernsey
Job DescriptionOur client is a large insurance company seeking to recruit an Assistant Financial Account Manager. Key responsibilities will include: ? Supervision of the team, for their day to day administration duties, including assisting with aspects of identifying and fulfilling their training and development needs. ? Co-ordinate the team to meet deadlines. ? Responsible for the delivery of a high quality service, ensuring that all client service standards are met for the client base. ? Responsible for all day to day contact with clients and brokers, loss adjusters and service providers. Ensure all documentation, correspondence and telephone calls are dealt with effectively, efficiently and accurately. ? Production, review and authorisation of Management Accounts, Management Reports, Statutory Accounts and all other reporting requirements within pre-set time frames. ? Dealing with deposits including observing mandates, investment guidelines and board requirements. Attending to payments and receipts, monitoring cash and Letter of Credit requirements, reconciliation of bank statements and trust agreement limits. ? Supervising and reviewing investment reports and analysis, including controlling and reconciling investment management purchase and sale contract notes, portfolios and calculation of capital gains and losses. ? Reconciliation of claims payments, premiums, reinsurance recoveries, company expenses and other administrative payments as necessary. ? Producing budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the relevant client needs. ? Year end accounts and liaison with auditors. The successful candidate will have: ? Minimum of 3-5 years? experience within an accounting environment desirable. ? Comprehensive working knowledge of accountancy, business and IT software.
