Job Description

Our client is a large insurance company seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant. Key responsibilities will include: ? Regular interaction with various stakeholders. ? Assist line manager with management of junior team members. ? Be responsible for management of the day to day cash management, inwards funds, outward payments and treasury including review and releasing of reports prepared by more junior team members. ? Professionally, efficiently and accurately manage inward and outward communications. ? Review management accounts including financial statements. ? Produce budgets, cash reporting, forecasts and ad hoc reports. ? Attend Board Meetings. ? Maintain company secretarial records. The successful candidate will have: ? Minimum of 3 years? experience of working within an accounting or financial environment desirable. ? CAT or AAT qualification or demonstrate significant qualification by experience as a minimum. ? The company encourages self-development and would support further relevant studies such as ACCA.
