Job Description

Our client is a funds administration services company seeking to recruit an Analyst / Report Writer. Overall role purpose: Support the Group CFO by designing, producing and analysing performance reports to provide commercial and analytical support to aid decision making. The role requires close work with the IT department to help create, and maintain, a coherent data platform that enables the production of automated KPI and performance reports, utilising databases, SQL and Microsoft?s Business Intelligence tools. Key Responsibilities ? Assist with the design and production of key performance indicator reports used to monitor the business? performance. ? Assist with the design of the company?s financial data platform used to support and enable the production of KPIs and performance reports. ? High level analysis and appraisal of business performance. ? Communication and influencing. ? Ownership of KPI data and reports for the company?s Group (high level statistics and detailed operational KPI?s). ? Client profitability. ? Historic review of the business to help any strategic documents for the next sale. The successful candidate will have: ? Relevant previous experience. ? IT / Finance based degree, or similar, with an interest in developing both areas. ? Support for ACCA can be provided. ? Support for learning SQL, database design and Business Intelligence can be provided. ? Strong numeracy and IT skills. ? Excellent report writing skills. ? Experience and knowledge of SQL, SSRS. ?
