Our client is a research company involved in collecting and analysing key economic, social and environmental data from islands globally to establish best practice is seeking to recruit an Administration and Project Assistant. Overall role: This role would suit someone with previous office administration experience to provide support to the team. This role has elements of a PA type role (however not exactly a PA role) but also includes providing administrative support to the team. This role is suitable for someone with experience, and is therefore not a junior/school leaver post. Key responsibilities will include: ? Monitoring project progress and business development initiatives using specific monitoring tools ? Liaising with clients to arrange and administer meeting schedules for senior team members ? Planning and organising company?s presentations and other events ? Liaising with support services on client invoicing, travel/accommodation, Office requirements, Personnel. ? Maintaining the company?s contact database (worldwide) ? Providing support to team members on the implementation of research surveys ? There may occasionally be the requirement to assist on bespoke research projects The successful candidate will have: ? Previous office administration experience. ? Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. ? Some use or understanding of Microsoft Powerpoint is desired but not essential ?
