Job Description

Our client is a research company involved in collecting and analysing key economic, social and environmental data from islands globally to establish best practice. This company is part of a large group of companies and is seeking to recruit an Administration and Marketing Support. Key responsibilities will include: ? Maintaining and updating client/internal databases; ? Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials; ? Helping the team to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives; ? Preparing publications using InDesign; ? Administration/monitoring of online surveys and applications. ? Marketing using social media, email, telephone and other methods deemed suitable; ? Representing the company professionally and effectively with clients and maintaining a high standard whether by phone, in writing or in person ? Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies; The successful candidate will have: ? Minimum 3 A levels or similar qualification (BTEC, Advance Diploma) and a high standard of written English; ? Intermediate use of Word, Excel and E-mail are a minimum requirement; ? Strong working knowledge of social media; ? Experience in dealing with clients and third parties; ? Working knowledge of desktop design applications (preferably InDesign) would be desirable; ? Working knowledge of survey applications would be desirable.
