Job Description

Our client is a seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator. Ideally this role would suit a candidate who is confident in double entry book keeping, is able to use online banking payment facilities, can work to deadlines paying attention to detail, and who may be able to produce accounts to trial balance and P & L. Alternatively they may also be open to employing a bright individual who is good with figures and would enjoy working within a small accounting team. No formal qualifications are required. Key responsibilities will include: ? All aspects of sales / purchase ledger including credit control ? Dealing with telephone queries ? Input of invoices from creditors ? Raising of invoices ? Reconcile bank statements ? Update Excel spreadsheets from audit reports (used for payments) ? Manual payments ? Ensuring that all month end accounts are posted in time ? Production of month end accounts ? Ad-hoc projects ? Any other duties as requested by the Accounts General Manager ? Comply with requirements of company management system (QMS)
